3663 First for Foodservice, the UK's leading foodservice distributor has been awarded a place on the Sunday Times Top 20 ‘Best Big Companies to Work For’ list for 2009, following similar success in 2007 and having achieved a best companies listing in the survey for the third time.

3663 was once again up against some of the best known and most well-respected businesses in Britain, including companies such as KPMG (UK), Vodafone UK, Deloitte, and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, to name a few .

This is Britain's most rigorous and sophisticated employee survey, judged independently by the workplace engagements specialists ‘Best Companies’, with nearly 1000 businesses taking part this year.

Employing over 5000 people across 37 sites, including drivers, warehouse operatives, sales teams and central support functions, 3663 are extremely proud to be featured in the Top 20 list which is testament to the loyalty and pride which lives within the company.

In addition to the position on the Sunday Times list, the survey provides an ‘engagement rating’ which allows companies to benchmark themselves against the performance of all the other participating businesses, and through this process 3663 have been identified by ‘Best Companies as ‘ones to watch’ 

The survey looks at the eight different factors that impact on workplace engagement, and 3663 has shown significant growth in all eight areas since the last evaluation with business leadership seeing the greatest improvement in score.

3663 achieved a top 10 performance under the factors of ‘Fair Deal’ and ‘Well being’ and under the category of ‘Giving Something Back’ an outstanding attainment of 1st place for being green in the question relating to protecting the environment which is great recognition of the sustainable focus at the heart of the company.
