Record financial year for 3663

3663 First for Foodservice, the UK's leading foodservice wholesale distributor, has announced outstanding financial results in all its operating areas - frozen and chilled, multi-temperature and logistics. These results have confirmed the company's ongoing success.

The company achieved 7% revenue growth and 26% increase in operating profit from greater operating efficiencies and better capacity utilisation across all areas of the business.

Fred Barnes, chief executive commented: "3663 has increased its market share in the United Kingdom to produce excellent results in a subdued market. All units performed outstandingly - achieving strong growth, whilst continuing to provide superior customer service."

These financial results only add to the portfolio of recent record-breaking developments for the company.

3663's key business opportunities expanded with the launch of mymarket.com, an internet ordering and information system for the foodservice industry, last July. The acquisition of Swithenbank Foods Ltd earlier this year and more recently Wilson Watson Ltd, has placed 3663 in a stronger position than ever within the industry.

With the accolade of  "The Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For" awarded in March of this year, the company continues to go from strength to strength.
