![]() People- how our people make a difference3663 is committed to people development across our business with the aim of positively managing performance and ensuring that the business commitments to customer service, and the principle of valuing and developing our people are met. 3663’s investment in training in particular, is directed at delivering better service for customers and providing for 3663 employees transferable skills and greater career opportunities. In 12 months ending July 07, 3663 invested in 63,000 training hours (averaging 9.7 hours per employee), with 380 people completing NVQs at level 2, 3 or 4. Each employee at 3663 receives First for Service training to ensure their involvement in creating a continual improvement culture, and evolving 3663 as an aspirational organisation of excellence. First For Service represents a long-term (12 year) commitment by 3663 to involvement reinforced by over 1200 employees attending these courses in the last 12 months. This is delivered by a dedicated First for Service implementation team whose responsibility is to ensure that Total Quality Management principles are applied company wide, and that TQM remains 3663’s cultural point of difference in the foodservice industry. 3663 was proud to have been voted by employees into the 2007 Sunday Times Top 20 Best Big Companies to work for. Community3663 actively encourages a culture of community involvement at local sites. Many Support for Industry and Charitable Bodies3663 is actively involved with the British Hospitality Association, British Frozen Food Federation, Institute of Grocery Distribution and Federation of Wholesale Distributors. Charitable bodies are supported at local level and national level. 3663 provides active support to Hospitality Action, the industry’s major charity, and Springboard, the charity that encourages hospitality as a career. 3663 also invests in the Woodland Trust as a Corporate Associate. |
