3663 Scoop Top Green Accolade

3663 First for Foodservice has been recognised on a national scale for its environmental activities by being selected as one of the top 50 best green companies in the UK, in the prestigious awards held by the Sunday Times.

The competition drew entries from every sector of industry from IT and finance to property and construction; and companies were judged in categories based on their size and environmental impact classification.

3663 are proud to be ranked in the top 10 list for big companies with a medium impact, and we are also the only national foodservice distributor to be recognised with this award. 

The award is unique in that along with looking at environmental practices, it also takes into account the views of over 800 employees who had to rate the companies green credentials by way of an in-depth on line survey, so this award tells us how well our green philosophy is supported at every level.

The judges considered the entries under 8 sections;  environmental management systems, public reporting, carbon footprint reduction, green supplier base, green training, energy consumption, green energy use and recycling practises as part of the overall evaluation.
