In 2007, 3663 celebrated entering their 5th year of ISO14001 accreditation.
Back in 2003, 3663 were the first food service company within the transport, storage and communications sector to win ISO14001 accreditation on a corporate basis for their environmental management system. Today they remain the only national dedicated food service provider to hold this across all sites.
What is ISO14001 accreditation? ISO 14001 is an independently audited standard, introduced in 1996, which specifies the requirements for an organisation's environmental management system. It applies to those environmental aspects over which an organisation has control and where it can be expected to have an influence. Find out more at http://www.british-accreditation.co.uk.
The work 3663 has achieved through its environmental management system has been driven by a dedicated team of 63 Sustainability Co-ordinators, who work on a voluntary basis across all of 3663’s sites.
The co-ordinators motivate and co-ordinate green initiatives which address local environmental improvement objectives and targets. Click onto the boxes on the right to learn more about what 3663 has achieved across some of its key environmental initiatives… |
